 Another well-planned mistake
   talking to you
   my ears kissing your lies
   as they smugly seep through
     don't mistake this for love
   it's desperation
     your stupidity nicely
      solves the equation

   you want to do
   what you want to do
      and I don't protest
   I feather the nest
     am I even getting through
   you can have your cake
   and eat it, too

   you come equipped 
  with all that I need
   warning signs flash
   but I pay no heed
     come to me and let's 
     get it over with
    the time has come
      to dispel the myth
       you're hardly Prince Charming
     I'm no Snow White
    there's no danger
       of us
 getting it right
  
   you want what you want
    like we all do
      I don't complain
       I let it rain
         am I even getting through?
      you can have your cake 
        and toss it, too
