HOW YOU LEFT ME . . . .

You never tried to break my spirit . . . I should
love you for that . . . .

When you left, you left me whole.
I should care you did that, too.
Really, you just left a frail shell,
For the world to see,
For me to collapse into.
I search unceasingly for my soul.
And, there is my nightly trip to hell,
Where I send yours back to the sea.
