It's been so long that we've been together
And still my love grows ever stronger with each day.

Sometimes when you are asleep I watch you.
I just gaze at you.  Amazed by how much I cherish you.

Everyday when I see you, my heart flutters just a little.
Like it has every time since I first saw you.

When I hear your sweet voice say my name with love,
I feel blessed.  I thank the stars and the powers that be.

Every time your fingers gently slips into mine,
It feels like our hands were designed specifically for one another.

I look deep into your eyes and see my future.
I imagine when we're grandparents and still completely in love.

When we hold each other lovingly,
I no longer care where and when we are.  Just that we are together.

I was scared.
