Angels by the Sea

Here I stand
Alone again
He has left me
Yet I hear him whisper in my ear

Remember that time by the sea, Angel?
I turn to see who asks
And no one is there
I am alone again

I remember everything
His soft touch
His smell of aftershave and spice
That one night by the ocean...

That night was my favorite
No one was there and all you hear
Is the ocean crashing on the shore
He smiles and takes my hand

We walk to the cove near the house
No one is there
And under the stars
I feel is breath on my neck

He whispers to me
Tells me he loves me
And there we lay
Together under the stars

No one expects it from us
To them it's a mystery
To us, it's reality
We were together all night

He kisses me passionately
And I kiss him back
We are in our own world now
Together under the stars~~~

Here I stand

With only memories to hold on to
He called my his Angel, and he was mine
