untitled

If I were to remember all the things you said
Sorrow would ingulfme
Such memories of dread, but can not be forgotten
The ways in which I was misled
When we danced beneath the dewdrops
Wanting needing to be wed
Romantic proposals were a reason to lie in bed
Now I dust fragments of love that which are now long dead
Destroying evidence of you
While I cry over what I once read
I dive into a sea of diffidence
Searching for my head
You promised me protection, but you brought me danger instead
Monster who emerged from the closet
You never ment a word you said!
