Ascention

follow me softly along a river bed
so that i might know what it is like to hold you.
feel the warmth of the babbling brook
like an undulating body asunder.
look to the sky and feel it touch you
as it extends its' own wonderments to breathe you.
try to smell all the fragrences of the bird
while it flies above to keep you safe.
ascend the mountain to the hilly plateau of my heart and
meet me midway amidst a stream of thorns.
cast away your fears so that they might consume me
then commit my corpse to the earth.
