Three months since you were so well met . I'd talked to you fifty times but only
as a fellow drinker . You'd come to see the band a number of times and I realy
didn't want to converse with you . I didnt want to be affected by you . Once life
was so simple and I maintained it that way . A complex web now is .
Oh it was you Tuesday night , not a dream , not hallucinations of sleep depravation .
Fair you who whispered " you dont know how deeply I feel" . What now stops me
from taking you up in my arms the moment I see you . I know I cant hold these
feelings back forever . Soon I must confess . A river takes it's course . Today I will
hope for tomorrow . I hope when the damn breaks you won't be washed away from me .
I hope when my love is revealed you will not flee . It was you who said so sweetly
"you dont know how deeply I feel" and you were right .
