Walk With Me

The day we met
We went for a walk
A stroll down a road covered with Fall
The chilling wind billows
A thin sheet of ice films a shallow puddle
Trees stand dormant
Disparity holding the scarce leaves
If you were not here,
to savor all that life will endeavor.
Our walk today would never end
Since the day we met
I go for walks often
Often times alone
The seasons have prospered
Turning colored to white
The road is an extensive walk
Walking this distance
I will be alone
Walk with me tonight our last
The day we met
We went for a walk
