1,000 Miles of Separation

How hard it is to be so far but be so close
your fragrance is on my mind but you are not here
i want to see you but all i have is a picture and a voice
but still i have to stay and have no choice
1000 miles of separation keeps us close but is to far
you know my feelings where ever you are

I held you close for a long time so now i cannot get you off my mind
when we part i cannot bear it
but when i see you nothing can compare to it
i want more but there is some conflict
but i will wait until you are free
1000 miles of separation is the farthest you could be

Everyday it gets so hard to be by myself
i think what i could do to get closer to you
looking again at your picture on my shelf
i push myself to close the separation that is between us
as i close the gap, the better i feel inside
1000 miles of separation cannot keep us apart
