I Smell Like You

After you gone for the night
Even long after you've gone
I can still smell you
As if you were still lying beside me

But I am not alone, or afraid
or anything less than content
I smell like you
And I am immersed in a wave of happiness

That makes my lungs quiver with delight
As I inhale
I find myself smiling in the dark,
Smelling of you

I pull my sheets tight to my chin
And of course I wonder
If, as you're driving home so early in the morning,
you smell like me.
