Laundry Night Special

It's like the night we did the marathon,
six-load laundry room special.
Warm, fuzzy clothes fresh out
of the dryer, all jumbled together
and crackling with energy.

Then it happened. Like a snap of a rubber
band, electricity jumped. Yes, as i was handing
you your fluffy whites, something pulsed between us.
We both squealed like goofy kids. It was a fleeting
charge, but this little thrill rippled right over me.

Sweetheart, let me tell you, your lips could power a
million laundry rooms.
