Stubborn

We argue all morning.

We sit in silence all afternoon,on opposite ends of the couch.
I sit starring at the T.V., not really watching it.

We say "good-night" as we lay on opposite sides of the bed.

I feel you, late at night, when you think I'm asleep.
You put your arms around me, you kiss the back of my head,
you whisper,"I love you."

You go back to sleep, on your side of the bed.

But I know...finally able to go to sleep.
