It is said that

It is said that 
pain adds a certain 
clarity to life.

The pain of heartache
does not always
make things more
clear.
It does sharpen the
Mind.  There are 
many country songs
and blues tunes
that were written with the creative
juice that comes
from this state of
mind.

I understand this
and embrace it;
but for me,
emotions have become 
clouded and my 
mind is confused
and the only thing
this heartache has made clear is
that there will always be more
pain.

At least there is 
the simple beauty
that exists in
the act of packaging 
this feeling in
this way.

I love you for that, too.
