I can't wait to see you again

i can only dream of you 
cause i know you'll never come awake 
ever since the day we met 
you've belonged to my heart 
but now it's like you're as far away 
as you've ever been 
and the smell of sweet flowers 
will never bring you back 
an image of you appears 
whenever i look into the water 
where we use to swim 
and i always hear your voice 
by the old house where you lived 
and the fights we had 
i never had the guts 
to admit i was wrong 
i wished you would have 
saved your power 
for the fight you had lost 
a cheap sucker punch 
and now you're gone 
and i don't know 
what i'm trying to say 
maybe it's that i miss you, 
i guess that i should 
getting over you is the hardest thing

by giving you a rose 
cause it always put a tear in your eye
