Take a Load Off

We all carry heavy weights,
most hearts are bound by chains.
Their limitations simply depend
on how we let them affect our brains.
So forgive me if I can't sympathize
with the paralysis of your pains.
You cannot let the your losses
interfere with potential gains.
Hope that time eases uncomfortable memories.
Let the slate be washed clean by the rains.
So move on and be strong, and
try not to dwell on love's bitter pains.
