Love Comes Home

When two souls meant to be together,
wander through paths unclear,
beacons wanted, hearts deliver,
Love comes home.

When whispers in the night endanger,
talk becomes the threatened stranger,
wanting only lights the heartache,
Love comes home.

Too often mindless life injects,
a venom cold with deep regrets,
the only cure for fighting back,
Love comes home.

Sleepless, worry, empty, hurt,
Wrought by my hand, mine to banish,
my only answer, but only yours,
Love Comes Home.
