Smell the roses
watch the water ripple
see a sunset on the west coast
make some memories.

Make love outdoors
at least once
make another memory.

Walk barefoot
laugh at nothing
and watch the reaction you receive
when you're
making memories.

Make love 
to the young and old
give them memories
as you make your own.

Because when you finish
when it's all done
life's quest for money,
happiness, love, security
an all that you seek---
and you're sitting in that
rocking chair, 
rocking back and forth
all you have left
are your memories.
