there it is...
i felt it
it creeps in 
at an instant
my thoughts of you
takes my breath away
it used to be a certainty
that you felt it too
now I am left with the question
the ache
not sure of the answer
with nothing to confirm it
or reassure me
the question I am afraid I 
may never know the answer...
were you the greatest joy of my life
or are you
