My Wife

You lied to me,
said we would always be.
My beloved wife.
You were for so long
me entire life.
I bowed down on my knees
So wholly your devotee.
I gave you all I had
everything both good and bad.
So warm and insightfull
in my deep blue eyes
You were all I could see.
My sweet beloved wife.
But I have my sight now.
Its too late to right
all the sarrows of our life.
My sweet beloved wife.
Now my heart is cold and hard
laughter no longer abounds.
Rather a steel curtin hung
with cold hands that surrounds.
No longer will you be
the life and love I seek.
I still cant believe
you have teken the very
best part of me
and turned it into a hollow shell
of a man that once was....YOUR LOVE!
