a dream a day

a dream a day to take me away
one new dream to set my spirt free once more
without these dreams where would I be
in a desert stranded of lonliness perhaps
with each dream I get new hope
a new dash of color here and there
today perhaps purple, tomorrow deep blue
a seduction of colors to sweep me away
on an island of warmness, happiness, and feeling
will today i dream of touch?
the one i long for 
a dream of love and emotion to fill my senses
everyday i'll keep dreaming to keep me alive
everyday a new idea, a glimpse inside
without these dreams i am nothing,
living in a white world, 
of nothing and no one
so come to me sweet dream,
during day or night,
and keep me awakened to some happy sight
