"untitled"

A silent journey along a moon lit street,
drives me away from you for another night.
A sorrow falls over me, inside so deep,
as I long, once again, to hold you tight.

I stare up at the stars and wonder why this must be.
Why a love so pure must be kept apart.
And as a whisp of a cloud moves past, I see
That our love is together, held within our heart.

And while I long for your warm, soft gentle caress,
I can dream about what the future may hold.
An angelic beauty in a flowing white dress,
smiling at me as she lures in my soul.

So one day I'm sure, the time will be right,
where we won't be forced to say our long goodbye.
Instead we'll melt together as we hold each other tight,
And we kiss and hug and sleep, side by side.
