Sagittarius

She takes the places of angels
sober when she bleeds
I hide her in the trees
I love her so
He is Sagittarius in bloom on my tongue
in my heart
I will lick his feet
(he says I smoke too much)
(maybe)
She says goodnight and kisses my cheek
I love her hopelessly
I almost cry and think nothing of the half moon (but I lie)
they recreate in trees
when the one you love writes her poetry you have to think
my mother, she has found god she says
I think it is in her head
he kisses only me (I think)
I hope these disciples know what they are talking about on the t.v.
he sleeps all the time
I take all the credit
love is the number of pages she reads
she knows me so well
I want to tell him glass didn’t cut me
it was myself
in a lullaby I sang myself a hundred times (a thousand) to calm down
these blue pills can’t always be our saving grace
my worst enemy I can’t escape for she lies in me
etch your horrors on to me and go to sleep
