sailing away

and so they lived in seperate worlds
his eyes the vast oceans
we stumble upon at night
and hers the miracle pools of light we wish upon
forever hoping htat somehow
the two come together
maybe in midst of tragedy they will
when they are no longer saught after
after their journeys have finished
maybe when their hearts are ready but for now
there is the mysty nights that surround them
and the magical moments of blissful awareness
those split seconds of wandering eyes
and what ifs
where are they now and what is their stepping stne
if we knew we wouldn't need any words
would we
we wouldn't feel the need to explain away things
or to say here is my reason
just the simpel statement my hair felli n my face
would be enough
what do we know what does it all come down to
maybe we are just the simple
chords of music
and we find a piece of ourselves in those softly strummed notes
on a guitar
or do we see ourselves walking through that fire in our eyes
to cause that fire to bring alive that passion
we feel
or those moments we suddenly come to our crossroads
and get down to our knees and pray
because we have no other option left
if all we ever had was ourselves our world wouldn't exist
if we are our own domain what is the cause
of love or hte meaning
of laughter when at the best moments our laughter
echoes in someone elses ears
inspiring music and thought and writign
i can't helpt but pray righ tnow
and feel compelled maybe i am a believer
in wishful thinking and like tot hink its just
someone else guiding me
doubting, its one of my worst enemies
at my crossroads
i doubt that i am the only one who feels
as if my life is coming toward something
or maybe at least at this moment
someone elses life is about to collide with mine
