Turn Away

I held a mirror to my soul
   the other day.
I didn't like what I saw.
   The reflection was
     appalling.

You left me
   stained and dirty.
Tarnished beyond compare.
   I couldn't even look
at myself anymore.

The scars never disappeared.
The pain never subsided.

I was molested by your love
   Raped by your lust
and you can't even bare to look
   at your own handy work.
