Your Eyes

Your gaze penetrates me
and your lips don't move
Your voice shudders my being

I feel the size of a thimble
And I see rage grow
but you, you never spoke

My hearing shatters with sounds
in the silence of your mouth
Your lips as still as the moment

You reach out your hand
And my world stops
When your mouth opens and your eyes close

You slowly open your arms
Embracing my fear
The shattering ends and the shuddering deepens

The nape of your neck
Decorated with dripping sweat
And your body collapses on mine

All you say is,
"I love you"
But your mouth doesn't move
