**Clouds Of Thought**

I see you across a crowded room
Through strangers, eyes that only see through
the circumstancial evidence
Harsh to our understanding,
lives full of reds and greens,
Taken and not given.
I turn from you
your eyes overcoming me.
My heart only wanting to be yours
in the gentle caress of you skin against mine,
I hold you.
My eyes looking deep into your soul
Deeper and deeper,
Penetrating your vast universe.
For your eyes are as doves' ;
they send me to a state
of calm and tranquility.
Without you beside me,
my heart is left once again
to be tranmpled on and tossed aside
for a rainy day.
Then I sit and think,
Listening intently to the blessed rain drops
pitter-pattering across the rough landscape
of the recesses of my mind's eye.
I raise my glass of tea and take a sip,
only altered in a state of sweet bliss.
I contemplate
what I could be doing with you
right now.
Lying in a hammock, studying the constellations,
I am seperated from myself,
concentrating on you only.
I hold you closer,
Only concluding with a kiss
ours lips pressed together
in a passionate display to passers-by.
Your lips are sweet
Like honey.
I feel the slow movement of my heartstrings
Finally withdrawing from this tender embrace
As of two friends.
I smile(a grin at least)
Wanting to be yours forever.
