Dim Peek into the Future at 1am.

Writing you thoughts
I wish you had the heart for
Crazy every day attempts
To pretend there are no boundaries or passports
Between a world of practical manliness -
A man who has never seen Gone With the Wind in its entirety
and won't give his horoscope a second glance
and my silly romantic heart
filling notebook pages with poetry
and seizing perfect moments with gusto
Is sleeping beside you enough?
When its sometimes so frusturating to watch you not understand.
And we can't talk about the same books?
I am afraid one day the answer will be no
After we have the picket fence dreams
And our two little boys with their dimples (like yours)
One named after your Dad.
We'll take them to T-Ball games and you will be an accountant
(The practical job).
And I will hang in there, of course, cause as you know,
I'm stubborn.
But I will be picturing fantasies
And they won't be about you anymore
Or a homemaker life.
Is it sufficient to be safe and comfortable?
You tell me yes.
And that is how I know that you are so wrong about me.
