Gentle falls the rain as I think of you
   Watering and quinching and cleansing and filling

Slowly blows the wind that wispers your name
   Singing each syllable soft and low and quiet and sweet

Bright shines the sun as it warms my heart
   Lighting my soul and melting and growing and changing

Smooth is the rythmn of my heart as the blood flows
   Flowing through my emotions and veins and time and memories

Days pass and friends change, clocks turn and mountains rise
   Rivers dry and stars fade

My love for you stays the same
