Observations or Clues

I know alot about you.

I know you button your shirt cuffs first left, then right
that the smell of your skin reminds me of new leather and cedar

I know that spot below your left ear that eludes your razor and tickles my lips
that you smile when I tangle my fingers through the hair on your chest

I know that you have a loping walk, and are slightly pigeon-toed
that you lick your lower lip whenever you drink something hot

I know how to kiss you until you are insistent
that you like honey on toast

I know you drive cautiously and with precision
that you giggle and secretly like cartoons

I know that when your fingers brush the back of my neck, just so, that your lips will soon follow
that you like oatmeal for breakfast, but not orange juice

I know your everyman's face is breathtaking when you smile
that you speak softly and laugh loudly

I know the sound of my name, shouted into the darkness
that you line up your shoes

I know what size jacket you wear
that you pull the covers around me when I'm cold in my sleep

I know you speak plainly and to the point
that you watch me you are unaware I fear what you might see

I know all these things, and all the others
The crossword answers to all that is you
And I still don't know you
I was never good at puzzles
