Searching For...

As we both search for 
life's true love
For one sent to us from above
We try to put the past behind
Our one true love at last to find
But this one love we both now miss
A glance, a smile, a touch, a kiss
To start our passion now to grow
To start emotion now to flow
But all these things we both now seek
May pass us by if we're too meek
So as alone each plies this task 
Of you one question I do ask
Can we ignore the tender charms
We might find in each others arms?
