A prayer for love

God,
Grant me the patience while I wait for my love,
The one that I've been dreaming of and praying to above.

I know that You will send him when the time is right,
I know that he is coming, just like the morning light.

I know what he will smell like and how he'll hold me close,
While he whispers words of kindness like the brightest garden rose.

He'll tell me that he loves me, a thousand times a day,
And when I'm feeling down and out, he'll know just what to say.

In his eyes I'll see tomorrow, in his arms we'll face the past,
And with a loving gentle kiss, I'll know our love will last.

I know that he is somewhere, looking to above,
Praying that You will help him to find his one true love.
