Broken day today
Harsh Words that sliced to the heart
Followed by
	Dinner served with psychodrama
	    of the dullest variety
		White pablum
			tasteless, unfilling
and
	Indifference
		Avoidance


But Tonight!
My lover arrived with words of solace
	Tender phrases of emotion
A caring ear
	Tempered by a loving heart
Prejudiced by her love
	Yet, honest in appraisal and
		Willing to tell me I am special.
Two hopes of Love
	One bearing false witness
		The other a gift of self
The dual reflection magnifying the other tenfold
			A hundredfold
Thank you God for a valuable lesson.
	The one today.
		The other Forever.
