after reading your beer soaked messages
I tried to sleep but couldn't
thinking cold thoughts
but then the warm won over
and I got out of bed
and grabbed the bottle of wine from the fridge
and threw it into the bathtub
hoping it would smash to pieces
but it didn't
and I laughed when I smelled my cheap wine soaked hands
and I got back online
to check on you
and tell you about
my failed symbolic gesture
