but it's always the same

Whatever happened to the one i knew
would look at me and say

she's gone...
Feeling the world
slip and slide
another face
filled with pride
and i say...
History is
HIS-story
she blames him
he takes the glory
but it's gone...
and now the ruins are left for the diggers
one more stop
who's heart is bigger
she says....
And i stand in a stupor
and look for an answer
but everyone is living
in their own romancer
with nothing for her
and nothing for me
and we say...
Revisionism is nice
but it's still a lie
history will repeat
accept the defeat.
