Northwestern Love

The drizzle covers me like morning fog
Encompassing my being, softening my edges

Twinkling, glancing upward, I blink… the droplets insist
Shuddering, my imagination's eye takes me through waterfalls

Constant crashing of sparkles, silent tranquility
I smile to myself, basking in this steaming bath

Some friends join me, some ask why?
The former from the valley, the latter never understand

Encompassing my soul, relaxing my heart
The drizzle covers me
