Just Kidding, Huh?
you were not serious with me
you weren't playing with a full deck
you had something up your sleeve
yeah, you played your little tricks
and it wasn't magic it was something else
my mama always warned me about cards
cards can be good but sometimes cards can be
evil like when you use them to try to predict
the future
with you there was none of that
no way to know what would come
but it was evil just the same
because you were not being straight with me
like you should have
why couldn't you be honest and tell me you
had a boyfriend? not just one but several?
why wasn't it my business to know you were
having fun? and I was just one clown in your circus?
speaking of clowns, I guess you were just kidding
all you need is a big red nose
warn me the next time your circus comes to my town
