Red lips don't lie
like foolish hearts do:
You wanted me too bad
to face the truth,

to let you know
I knew you knew the truth
But red lips don't lie
like we do
And they Damn us
one to the other
every time we kiss
And every time we look into each other's face
we will see pain-filled eyes,
wet cheeks, and swollen red lips
and we will be reminded of the truth:
