SCENE 84-EXT.-Scene of the wreck. Day.
Paramedics are placing Papaw on a stretcher. The drunk woman
is crying and babbling.
Woman: I didn't know- I didn't know! My God! My God! I'm so sorry!
I wish I was dead! God, just let me die!
A cop handcuffs the woman. Reads her her rights.
