Baby I'm Tired


This is hard for any man to say

to any woman

And you are not just any woman

So I am scared



When you left me alone you said

'You have to Be strong, and I promise..'

And I was, and I waited

But Baby I'm tired now..



And the dark is creeping in

to the edges of my nights now

Cause you've shown me lonely

And  my heart is about to run out.



Is this how love is supposed to  feel?

Cause my heart has missed something

And with you never here

How will I ever know what it might be?



There aren't many more words.

You have said you love me

And you need me

But they are starting to echo in my head

Cause Baby I'm tired now



And they feel hollow and empty

Cause words are just words

Are just letters without action

And your actions are drowning me.



Cause on your list of 'Must do Today'

I am missing

And you fill the day with everything but me

While I write love poems to a memory.

And Baby I'm tired now...
