Discussions of the Heart Muscle

…the contraction squeezes tight around the sticky liquid pumping through as the oxygen deficient blood squirts out into the arteries and down near the lungs and the oxygen enriched blood comes back in from the lungs and follows its pipes through the pulmonary vein and into the atrium and the big left ventrical that send the nutrients off to the body and the aorta  branches off into the arterioles that feed the cardiac muscle and the sodium potassium pump fires off some more chemicals and the SA node gets ready to shoot off its electrical impulse that excites the muscle tissue into the contraction that squeezes…
