Ignored

Ignored.
That's how I feel
I'm your wife
Or so I thought
When we go out,
You leave me there
Not really alone.
I'm surrounded by people
But as usual I'm ignored.
When we go out,
You always look for them;
Everytime she hugs you
He shakes your hand,
and I'm ignored.
You dance with her,
He's off talking
with someone else,
As if I can't hold
A conversation.
There I sit
Ignored, by myself,
No one talks to me,
Not her or him or even you.
The only talk I hear
Is from the lead singer
of the band in my ear,
Asking if I'm alright,
I say just a rough night.
At the end of the night
I'm not so alone,
At least the lead singer sang ME a song.
