Sipping Honeysuckle

You put me to mind
of the tiny cups that bloom
each stamen heavy
with a single drop of sweetness.
It makes the tongue and heart dance---
but is enough
only for the barest taste.
To savor it fully
you must reap a thousand flowers
and each droplet
stuns the tongue
then flees like a coquette
mindful of her virtue,
but still batting her lashes.
