Confusion

I thought you've seen me 
I thought you heard me 
I thought I was right 
Now I think I'm wrong 

I thought you were looking 
I thought you were listening 
Now I realized 
It was just me.... thinking. 

Confusion - 
Many times i've "fallen" 
treasured thru the years 
of smiles and laughter 
of sadness and of tears 

words of truth and 
words that lie 
not every word is said 
but everything has its price 

times i've fallen 
always end up hurt 
of all the lies 
and of all the truth 

words that never reached me 
and words that never left me 
love, i may not see 
for thy heart's broken ever since 

here are the pieces 
for how long can you hold? 
will you wait 
or just turn cold? 

I fear love, more than 
I fear life. 
Love can hurt much 
but not as much as life.
