With_You...

Dancing a midnight waltz
Gazing into your eyes,

I am lost in a magical daydream.

Like butter melting,
We glide upon the glass floor
Cold as ice to an un-furred Eskimo.

Yet I hold you close
And am warmed by your angelic heart,
confronting my shortcomings,
in my daily trials and tribulations.

In which I weep at my faults,
then I look to you
And you brighten me,
heart and soul.

I depart from you,
still longing for your gentle touch.

Holding you in my arms,
I smile and dance in a rainstorm.

The droplets of sustenance and rejuvenation
stream down my chiseled features.

Your hair, strangely enough,
is most beautiful
during these trying times
When the pin drop screams
resonate inside the minds of the world.
