Blush
I walked in school one morning
Wearing a navy colored, thermal,
Long-sleeved shirt
It sported the logo "SUGAR"
In BIG white letters
Across my chest
You looked at me
Then your eyes quickly
Darted directly at the word
After all it was pretty eye catching
"Sugar?"
You asked in a disbelieving
Tone of voice
"Yeah, you got a problem with that?"
I said sarcastically.
You had views on everything,
And I never hesitated to
Tease you about them
Your reply was
Accompanied by a smile...
"Just because you are the sweetest
Part of my life, doesn't mean
You have to brag about it."
What else could I do... but blush?
