Green When She Cries
Beautiful man
Like a child
Loves in black and white
Fears the colors that bleed and blend
Into his grey existance
Afraid of being tainted
By crayola hues
Neon or bold or even pastel
Stays in the lines
Paints by numbers
Sleeps in boxers
Writes her a poem that rhymes
Sex with the lights off.
Says I love you
Just enough times
But never notices
That her eyes turn green when she cries.
