Beyond Imagining

It is said that, “Absence makes the heart grow 
fonder.” But it is that absence that terrifies 
me most. Leaving, as I must, causes my heart to 
ache. Ache as I have never known before. Leaving 
you is beyond imagining.

Although our time apart may be short, for me an 
eternity will pass. An eternity of torment. An 
eternity of sailing a sea of raging storms. A 
sea that will take me from you. And the pain that 
is inside of me is beyond imagining.

I will miss gazing into your incredible eyes. I 
will miss the scent of you. But I will remember 
your caresses and the rapture we shared. I will 
remember how you held me and how your love goes 
beyond imagining.

But leave I must, that I cannot control. And I 
swear to you now that my love shall never abate. 
I swear I will return to you. Return to your 
waiting arms. To renew the passion we have shared...
