If God Made A Mistake

If God Made a Mistake
by June  4/3/000

If God, in his infinate wisdom, could make a mistake, what would it be?
Perhaps it was passion, the pleasures of the flesh not meant to be discovered
Why should mortals be rewarded with such delight?
How is it, if a gift; it would be withheld from hungry souls,
To await a different fate?
Did God mean to grant us imaginations so vivid of lust
Only to be told, no, not yet.  The Proper time cometh.
This art of self control,
Who leads who, if the "proper" time never comes?
I see Him laughing, quite amused at us for our curiosities
As we, squirming, legs crossed, reciting a mundane nursery rhyme
Become babbling idiots when denied His gift presented to us!
Of which we never asked to be given, not at creation,
Of which we wage war on countries for gratification!
So why, if we so naturally feel
So naturally need
So naturally seek it's best nature
Are told beware of un-natural acts of love?  (Isn't falling in love natural?)
To take heed and control to squelch natural emotions.
It seems for a God who abhores sin, his gifts could be considered a curse!
Then if a curse it is, I am not alone in the world.
The world is cursed, for it is in all of us.
I just ventured a step, to question
And as all Heavenly questions
There are no answers...
Why?
