Reflection

I sit back in my chair and gaze out of the window at the mountains.
In the distance of that beautiful, breathtaking view I look back, into the past, on the days of when loving you was such a satisfying good thing for me. Then, I look forward into my present and wonder when I stopped loving you. I wonder how my love for you just helped contribute to my state of confusion, hurt, and pain. As I  take a sip of wine I finally realize that it was your lying and cheating on me that were the main contributing factors of the total distruction of our relationship. Now my  gaze and reflection has become one and has come into focus allowing me to see clearly. I turn around and walk out of the door into the future and the arms of my new lover, with a better perspective and outlook on love and cheating.
