Remember What Made You Smile?

Remember What Made You Smile?

When your heart becomes overcast
By the shadows of fear and past lost
And when loneliness creeps into the song of your spirit
Bringing a slow tracking tear tumbling from your soft lash
Remember my promise...

My heart beats with yours now
And my tears flow from the same source.
My laughter can become your laughter
And to make you smile right now,
I will make bubbles in the rainbow just for you!

And when the future we dream of becomes lost in the committments of today
Making life seem like an ironic joke that hurts the secret place in our heart,
Making you feel lost, torn between two separate worlds;
The loving, safe, security of your today
Against the fierce, passionate possible tomorrow whose fire burns white hot.
Remember

My soul sings with yours now
And my desires flow from the same source.
My laughter can become your laughter
And to make you smile right now,
I will paint a mural with these raindrops just for you!

Mine are the hands that reach for you in the night, yet find empty arms of air.
Mine is the heart that hears your name in every song, every poem now.
And Yours is the other half of me that completes me in ways we can never understand
While you are the hope of true love everlasting; my fairy tale Princess incarnate.
Knowing we can never be together in this lifetime,

Yet my soul will never be apart from yours now
And my desires have already been attained.
My happiness was completed with your laughter you see
When through the tears I made you smile for me
By blowing a rainbow bubble then, and popping it with your name!

Sandi, may you always smile through life's tears...
